This is my first post, so I'd say "hello everybody"
I have an A3 TDI 100 8L, which I bought in Feb 2003. So she's 4 year-old now.
After 10 000 km I decided to remap it to reach 130 HP. I'd like to further increase the power. A friend of mine told me to install a new turbocharger (he said the turbo of the TDI 150 would do the job), install a reinforced clutch, a new high volume intercooler and remap again to reach 170-180 HP and no more than 400 Nm.

What do you think about this project? Does anybody ever "supercharged" his TDI with another turbo? Do you think I should install other spare parts? (I also would install Brembo brakes). Other engine mods?

Many thanks in advance.

I would doubt that the engine would be very reliable at that power level (if it could even be reached). The TDI 150 (and 130?) has uprated engine internals to cope with the extra stresses.

You may also need to consider bigger fuel injectors.

Personally I'd change to a TDI 130 and remap from there or transplant a TDI 150 into your current car. Either option would be more reliable that what you propose to do with your TDI 100
