difference in bhp with different tuners?

Sorry to be posting again, how come the bhp gains/final figures vary so much depending on tuner, i am looking for the most gain from mine and am confused on which place to go.

So tuner use generic maps where it's a set gain and some use custom ones where it's possible to get abit power. Where abouts are you based?

in leicester. willing to travel tho, Amd have quoted me to approx 200 bhp, only a 20 bhp gain, yet some members saying they have 40-50 bhp gains!
