Intercooler colour?

Is there any advantage in a fmic (or even the side mounts) being painted in a different colour, eg black?
Black is more absorbant (so coould heat soak worse), but also more radiant I think, so could transfer the heat out too..? Some front mounts jsut scream at you all ally coloured behind the grills? Water rads on cars are always black? So why not ally intercoolers?
Any ideas...?

I think there might be the slightist difference with this but as long as there is good air flow that is the most important thing ..........Alloy would be my prefered choice as it expells heat quicker?

I does seem a bit strange that all air intercoolers seem to be silver in colour and most water type radiators are black ?

Copper (metal) would be best but it would be darn expensive
