S4 (B6) Stage 1, 2 or 3??

Looking to pay a visit to AMD in January when warranty is up.
Any one got any experience of stage 1, 2 or 3 tuning for S4 (B6)?
Any thoughts or comments gratefully received??

What do you want to know?

I have stage 3 and it makes a definate difference. However it doesn't help the situation with the sensitive throttle. If you think it's sensitive now over bumps then afterwards it's even more so. I got mine upgraded to the last B6 version of throttle software which helps but it's not as smooth as when not chipped.

The noise is brilliant and very addictive. The torque increase is really useable and most welcome.

I've not driven an S4 with just a remap or just the exhaust system so I can't comment on them but together I'm very happy with it.

Thanks for the response and advice!
As yours is the only reply i've had - can i ask some more questions:-

The sensitive throttle bit explains alot - thought it was just me!
I've heard stories that the Clutch / flywheel can't handle the extra power?
Is yours still under manufactures warranty?
Do you have a Milltek exhaust? if so RESONATED or NON-RESONATED?
Want it to sound great - but not too bad boy ish!
Did you go to AMD?
Who did the throttle software upgrade for you?

'Just Plain Old' on here has a Stage 3 AMD B6 S4, and it ran just shy of 400bhp at our RR day a few weeks ago

He took me out for a spin in it, and it was VERY impressive!!!

Sounded better than the turbo's RS6's TBH

I've had no probs. I'm just at 3 years old now and it was done virtually at new. Mines is resonated which makes the perfect balance in my mind. I have a 16month old son and he's fine with it but it also puts a big smile on my face.

I bought the car 5 months old from a friend who had already had the stage 3 done which I was planning to do anyway. For the throttle software AMD unmapped the car, I got Audi to flash the software and then Audi remapped it all free of charge.

Definitely off to AMD - might even make it an early Crimbo present!

Found that clip sometime ago when suffering when i first got my S4.
Your car sounds the 'mutz nutz' in the clip! Road looks cool!
