Okay.

Stage two tune for Lee's Motor is currently looking like:-

1. Brembo GT brake kit (but may go for slotted and green stuff all round - £500 cheaper by my reckoning)
2. Rear slotted discs and greenstuff (dependant on above)
3. Short shifter - Neuspeed one looks pretty good. Am assuming if it doesn't fit, my specialist tuner should be able to source one. (Slotted short travel gear change was one of the things that really impressed me when I drove a boxster s recently)
4. Fully synthetic gearbox oil change.
5. Rear adjusted tie arms. Cure rear camber.
6. Mild camber and toe adjustments to front end.

Ignoring the price, do you think that the above is too much to get right in one visit? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hmm, its all time, of which I don't have a great amount. And yes it would be one of the specialist tuners and I agree with Al about unconflicting parts.

Still a little nervous. Maybe leave the front end tweaking for later. Can't expect to get it right first time anyway.

Need all the above for a fast approaching track day..

I don't know Lee, I don't want to sound like the voice of reason here (God-Forbid /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif) but if something goes wrong, I don't think a track is where you wanna find out. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Just my 2 cents dude, the only one ya gotta convince is yourself. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My opinion is do mods 1-4 all at the same time no problem, because as Al said they are relatively unrelated. Anything like engine mods I would always do in stages, and other items that are directly related should be treated the same.

As for 5 and 6 they need to be done seperately in my opinion, allow the brakes to bed in first and find any problems under braking i.e judder or dragging etc. then sort out your tracking on the front end, then worry about your rear end. I say the front first because it's the most important in the A3/S3 is this is where the car loses grip first, so it's got to be right to make the most of what's available.

I am getting paranoid about the rear camber and sure the car has become fidgety at high speeds - maybe my imagination though.

Car is also tram-lining more.. Which I don't mind.

But getting 1-4 done should be relatively straight forward.

Ps. I am always getting done over at lights by old guys in fords /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh_roll.gif
