Common ABS problems

Hi all! anyone know of any common ABS problems, My ABS light comes on intermittently, beeps bout 3 or 4 times, not every journey. All help would be appreciated, is booked in for a check after new year anyway. Cheers guys and girls /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ok.gif

1/ Faulty Sensor

2/ Sensor Gapped incorrectly (If it needs gapped or not, older versions did, not sure about new ones though)

3/ Faulty ABS pump

4/Faulty foot pedal brake switch

5/ Dirt in the grooves of the ABS ring.

You forgot number 6: faulty ABS module

thanks for input, plugged it in at work, came up with weird fault, needs to be plugged in by the pro's - Nice and cheap /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsdown.gif
