measuring BHP or Boost without Rolling Roading...?

Can you use Vag-com to log boost or bhp measurements? If not, how can I check what these figures are without a Rolling Road?
Trying to fault-find my remapped S3 boost problem.

knowing very little on the subject, i thought someone on here would...

I would just plumb in a Boost gauge... very easy to do..
