Thread: S3 0-60?

Was thinking of getting a s3 and would consider tuning but only have only down the simplest of mod's to my fiesta st by putting an induction kit in so dont know very much about tuning.

On a new shape s3 what can you expect the 0-60 time to be after say an exhaust and a remap and what mod's have you used to improve yours?

no offence here, but why are you obsessed with the 0-60 figure? you hardly ever do a 0-60 on the roads what u want is in gear pick up and acceleration so your 30-50s 50-70s and beyond.. altho standard the 225 S3 is quoted between 6.4-6.6 when it was new. but for basic mods the remap and exhaust work well together and give more power, and maybe a sports cat to make the system less restrictive... i'm no expert either there's better people on here to help with this..!

S3's have pretty poor 0-60s to be honest but it's more about the in-gear acceleration you should be looking at as thats a true indication of a fast car

my 2002 S3 did it in 5.8 seconds.
