Hi

I've got a '99 TT 225 and the passenger window does not seem to rise to its full height. It's only a matter of a couple of mm but it's causing a lot of wind noise at high speed. I'm guessing this is possibly a common fault. Does anyone know if it easily adjusted/repaired? And if so how!?

Best regards

P.

Press and hold the window down button until it's fully down and don't let go for a further 5 secs. Do the same in the up direction and then repeat down and up again.

That should recalibrate it.

Cheers scoTTy. Do I do the 5 second thingy on the 2nd time I put the window down and up?

(Thanks again)

hi,

i have the same problem with my drivers door. i tried the window reset and it helped a little so will try again. i did all the way down all the way up and hold for 5 secs, hadnt done the hold down for 5 secs.

Window reset

ignition on
windows all the way down
windows all the way up, let go of switches
push them up again and hold for 3-5 seconds
ignition off
