TT PETROL CAP

Hi Guys Does anyone know how to manually release the petrol flap on a 2001 TT.
I got the cap open using the switch eventually but was wondering if there was a manual method the same idea as the boot pull.

The flap release pull is located in the right side of the boot behind the velour cover

Does anyone have any advice about keeping the filler cap closed?! i filled the tank up at a garage and the cap would not stay closed after. This car will surely be the death of me..... smuja oh and since you mention it, where is the manual boot pull? for future reference, im sure il need it. Thanks

in between the seats is a removable cover (where the armrest would go) and there is a little loop there to pull
