Left lights on should there be an alarm

Hi, i left my lights on today should an alarm come on when you open the door

On my 2001 roadster they shut themselves off, and when you turn the car off and remove the key a bing bing bing bing will sound to let me know I have left the lights on

mine is 2004, the fog lights and headlights go off when you switch the ignition off but the sie lights will reamin on. and there is a warning siren. if you leave your indicator stalk up or down then the left or right will remain on and i dont think there is a warning for that as they are parking lights

mine is a coupe of 2001 and I receive a warning sound when I open the doors (and of course when the key is not in the ignition)
