whirling/spinning noise

Hi, my TT has started to produce a whirling spinning sound when I release the excellerator, any ideas?

I'm no super-duper expert, but I think it's just the dump/recycler valve (or is it the turbo spinning down?). Maybe a true expert can comment. Mine makes this sound too...particularly if I'm making short sharp use of the accelerator, with clutch/gear changes....sounds pretty cool if you ask me, so I haven't worried about it yet

Mine does the same but did get a little louder when I changed the air intake
and I agree I like the sound hope it is not a problem???

The noise was very low whan I had the factory air intake on, once I put a forced air pipercross on the noise became louder, not sure I like the release noise but the air going in on excelleration sounds boss.
