Help needed - rattling sound!!?

Hi Guys

Im new here, got a mate of mine to change the clutch and cv gaitor on my tt quatro.

Took it for a test drive and theres a rattling noise coming from somewhere (front) underneath the car. The rattling noise only occurs when im accelerating and the car is moving and not when the car is in neutral and i rev the engine.

Any ideas on what it could be??

is it a mechanical sound or just a rattle, the reason I ask is when the Mech replaced my clutch he did not replace all bolts on the bottom skid plate and this would rattle when I was moving... some place to start

Its more of a mechanical sound that occurs under load and acceleration.

I would have someone else look at it better safe than sorry something small could cost alot of $$ later if not taken care of
