Uneven rear tyre wear?

My friend has a TT roadster which has just had the rear tyres replaced. I noticed they where very badly worn on the inner half of the tyre indicating a camber problem.

My question is, if as i believe its not possible to adjust the rear camber with factory tie-arms how can it be so far out? Its on standard suspension (60k miles) so its not lowering causing the camber issue.

Bent upper tie-arm? Wore tie-arm bushes? Tired springs? Ideas?

nope, not looked at the car yet. Just saw the old tyres on the floor and thought thats not right. cheers

I've heard of this being caused before by those speed bumps which don't cover all the road - even so far as damaging wheels on the inner half. Just a thought.

the rear springs are known for going , but also if they have been replaced with lowering springs, then he will need to get some adjustable ones, KW ones are on offer from dpw motorsport for about 200 at the mo

Is it a quattro.
The camber on the rear wheels can be adjusted if it is quattro but it needs a special tool that might be dealer only.
The toe-in settings are also adjustable
