225 quattro tt,IVE NOTICED WINDOWS (both sides) go down slightly when doors are opened,then go back up when doors are closed,i thought this was just on cabriolets/softops, mine has the hardtop.....or is it the cab?

I think its cos the windows have no frame around the door. The seal is in effect the rubber around the cut-out for the door (ie the roof/pillar).
When the door is released the window goes down slightly to be free of the seal before you push it open.
When you close it again it goes up again slightly into the rubber to form the seal again.
