Indicator / hazard flasher problem.

Could anyone could be kind enough to help out?

My 2002 225tt has developed a indicator / hazard / alarm flasher problem.

1. Hazard switch only operates the indicators on one side only.
(is this simply a relay problem?)
2. Indicator stalk fails to operate indicators or is irratic.
3. Alarm arm/disarm only operates indicators on one side, same as hazards.
(does alarm operate same relay as hazards?)

The Hazard /alarm flasher fault occured before the indicators stalk failed.

Hi Mate
This os probably down the the hazzrad switch
These have a relay at the back of the switch
Very common fault on ALL the VAG cars
Not expensive either
