I have a 2001 Audi TT roadster 225. Recently I have noticed some rust appearing on the os rear wheel arch. Does this fall into the paintwork warranty? As I bought the car second hand I'm not sure how long the warranty is on paintwork.

It should do, yes.
I believe Audi have improved the anti-corrosion warranty to 12 years.
However. It is much more likely that the rust is due to some kind of external damage (perhaps previously repaired) which, if the case, may not be covered by warranty. I say this as corrosion is something you just don't hear about and rarer than a rare thing in raresville

If its rust from a previous repair it wont be covered unless of course the repair work was carried out by Audi bodywork themselves.
