I was looking at buying an A3 1.8T quattro sport, but then noticed I could buy an early TT LHD for similar money.....

Should I consider this or not?
Whats the max milage I should consider?

Any problems with buying LHD over RHD?

Any other info would be great, cheers

Neighbour had left hand TT and said it was ok, but friend had a left hand car and hated it as he couldnt see stuff coming the other way when he wanted to over take, my advice is to test drive any left hand car to see if you can get on with it as he reckons it was nerve racking.

absolutely test drive it. Get insurance quotes first too.

Yeah test drive is a big must, my mates dad had a LHD Merc Cossie and when i had a shot it was pretty dodgy. I would keep wanting to drive down the middle of the road as that is what i am used to when driving RHD.

LHD can be a huge pain in the *** to drive as a daily driver, but it's entirely personal preference, you should consider resale also!

Mileage is not the issue, condition and servicing is more of an issue.
