TT roadster noisy soft top

Hi,
2001 TT roadster very noisy soft top sounds like the top rubbing on the frame when up - even when crawling.
Anybody got any tips, or is this something I have to put up with.

Could try rubber grease/silicon grease on the seals along the windscreen and all the rubber seals
