Hi am new too this forum! I have a audi tt 1.8t Quattro 2001, I have had a new turbo fitted 1400 miles ago but when I drive car at the minute I have few differences:
I hear a pitched sound when give it a little gas
My car is drinking fuel
Running rich
Can hear like a air sucking noise
And car feels slightly less powerful on acceleration

I have just had a boost gauge fitted too and reads about 16psi when pit foot down.

Does this sound like a boost leak? I have checked as many pipes as can see and can't see anything?

Any help would be great!
Thanks
Chris

Get it scanned as said and check for air/boost leaks, under the inlet manifold is the usually place for worn or split pipes. Also if its had a new turbo then check that the turbo intake pipe is on correctley and all other pipes going to the smic are in good order aswell as checking things like your n75 valve have been fitted correctley and that the pipes to that arnt kinked or split. Hope that helps.
