TTS Exhaust modification

Hi guys

I have a 2008 TTS and am thinking of removing the middle box from the exhaust system and replacing with a straight through pipe

Has anyone done this?

My thinking is that it would improve flow within the system and also give a meatier exhaust note...

if your car is a turbo less is more, the downpipe is most important for quicker spool. your exhaust is prolly stainless so replace it with such for lifetime rust free service, expensive but worth it, a catback may be a good choice since factory mufflers and added resonators are heavy and restrictive
