Interior light???

I have a 2000 TT 180hp with no owners manual...so there are many things I am trying to figure out. Can anyone tell me the step by step process to set the interior lights to come on when I enter the car?

the buttons should sit flush, i.e. not pressed to either side. Do your interior lights work? if they dont come on when you unlock the car then you may need to get someone with vag-com to set that up for you although i think it should be set as standard.
