Tried setting up one of the HID kits earlier but it didn't work, just wanted to check that I had it the right way around. Can any confirm which is live, brown or yellow?

Which is live on the headlight wiring - brown or yellow?

I hink left and right have different colours
so see what is on other side
eg if brown is left and right and yellow is on one side and a different colour on the other that could be it
or yellow is both sides and brown is on one side and another coulour that could be it
a meter would be of helpif you have one
some one I hope will give you a real answer now as I alwas get told I got it wrong always
if i say the car has brakes some one will say it hasnt
