hi
lokking for a few ideas on what common parts you would like to see in our shop

any ideas will be considered, as we are trying to offer a good range of diy products across the range of all models

If going the DIY route then possible like what vag parts used to sell,
such as the Audi ambient leds 8eo919063a - both front and rear (hint as I'm after some so a price delivered would be good thanks !!)

To be honest with the recent sad demise of VAGparts you could be sat on a goldmine here!

I have looked at your site for the first time tonight, and have some criticism which I hope is constructive, so please tell me if it's not and I am being an outdated old bugger!

The home page takes me straight to load of umbrellas, golfing accessories, coats and cufflinks, all branded by Audi! Does anyone actually ever buy these? Or at least anyone from AS.net?

The shop is better, I look at A4 accessories and get a few interesting items, but 9? Is that all?

Looking at A4 parts, I get "No Results".

So i try a search on a few things I have bought recently or am interested in, ipod, ambient, filter, wiper - all get "No results"! Maybe I am doing something wrong ......

This sounds like harsh criticism, and I guess it is - but if the site could be easy to use and full of interesting things that AS.Net users (most of whom I imagine are fairly similar to me) would be interested in, and of course the prices attractive this site could be really good!

And I have been here a year almost and tonight is my first visit here, so maybe we should all use you a bit more to give you the incentive to get it right!

Any retrofit kits such as cruise and PDC. Mirror covers, mirror glasses, convex blind spot and the like. Ambient lighting parts, roof lights with map lights, wiper blades, oil filters, luggage nets, boot liners, 12v sockets, sunblinds. Repair kits, such as the A3 8L rear wiper repair kit. etc....

Diverter valves, N75 valves, coil-packs, oil filters, air filters, pollen filters, spark plugs.

we have looked into updating the current shop, but due to its limitations we are changing the software and in the process of doing it.
the new software will be customer friendly, such as you being able to build wish lists and more options.
so please bear with us as we ae new to the online parts supply.
thankyou for all your input, and ideas, as we have taken them on board and will be building most of them into our new shop.

I'll second the bits for simple retrofits like cruise, DIS, light packs. Also maybe offer service parts like filters and wipers.

Great idea though.

I think there were a few more, but I can't remember them now!

another idea would be a double din conversion kit for the A3 8P

i have now bought but would have liked to buy a complete kit rather than havking to order all the parts myself.

I've got a great idea, how about answering some of the questions that have been posted in this section of AS too?? as myself and others are still awaiting a reply to questions. Thats always a good start to build up people looking at your website

Things like Mats for the original S3, a service pack conatining everything but the rip off audi 1ltr oil packs, other common parts like coil packs etc

and a section for the old S3 if you are still doing the parts for this model ???

CD changer's, cables for connecting the changer to the head unit and mounting cases/frames for the changers.

IDEA FOR SITE IMPROVEMENT
You could set up an enquiries page for people to email you what they want either as a part number or by a general description. That way you will have more direct contact with the public rather than just having this forum a place for enquiries, thus potentially increasing sales.
