not sure if is an mtm but the number plate was *** mtm

You're missing the point.

It's very easy for someone to copy, and what difference does it make whether he's on here or not? People now know if they have a dark blue S3 that's in need of becoming a clone for some reason, use that plate and avoid Manchester like the plague.

Why not just do the sensible thing and replace a couple of the number plate characters in your post with asterisks?

It's all too easy for someone with a dark blue 8L S3 to get those plates made up and run up some bills/points for the owner!
