Easter in the Lake District?

Anyone from here off to the Lake District for Easter weekend? I'll be up there from Thursday to Monday around Kendal/Windermere, and as my old man is recovering from a hip replacement, the golf will be limited. Anyone up for a meet/beer/coffee or even a game of golf...?

A meet in the lakes sounds good. Plenty of great roads and huge choice of pubs for a bite too eat in. Kirkstone pass might be a good choice:

Heh! It's a bit late now. I grew up just down the valley in Troutbeck, and regularly cycled up and down Kirkstone, and the Struggle into Ambleside for kicks... A bit wiser now!!

The Kirkstone Top car park used to be 1st port of call for me and my mates when the snow came, for a bit of sideways action at 10mph!

Where is Cumbria are you, as I'm up there every month or so?
