Hey All

Where are all the Hants and South Central peeps on here then?

Done a few searches and not come up with many results.

Am I the only Audi Boy in Hants?
I hope not!

There's a few from Southampton about, and about three (?) of us from Dorset I know of.

Halfway between Portsmouth & Southampton in Bursledon.
Keen to meet others - particularly those who are mechanically minded, those with a remap (as I'm tempted) and those with access to VAGCOM.

im from Oxford... if there was a big enough meet then i would travel down...

this forum needs a better regional section! compared to others i use this blows

Im based in Amazingstoke.. We need some sort of meet for us southerners! :-)

im in new milton(y) area and i would be up for a meet! i know there is sovag on the first monday of every month in southampton and theres tidyvag in poole aswell but i dont know when that is im afraid.

It seems to be quite hard to narrow down who is where on here and as there are no specific area sections local meets would be a bit of a pain to organise.
I have seen loads of peeps that are local to me posting on here and I'm sure a lot of the would be happy to join a meetup of some kind getting them to a particular part of the forum is a tough one.

Do we have a local Moderator on the site or anyone that actually looks over the local section of the forum?

Hi, I'm from Southampton, Hedge End to be exact. There's another 8L A3/S3? that lives a few roads down that's tastefully modified of which hopefully is a member on here too.

RobW, I have a mate who has access to VAGCOM at their garage, he used to be an AUDI & VW Specialist (still is to be honest). Means taking a short trip up to Hiltingbury (Chandlers Ford ) though. I wouldn't know where etc for a remap etc

Just seen this thread. I'm in Aldershot in Hampshire. Mattyboyc lives just round the corner from me! Would definately be up for a local regular meet. My brother in law has a Subaru and goes to a weekly Surrey Scoobies meet. Makes me very envious sometimes! Anyone else going to Audi Driver's International this weekend?

Im near Petersfield, would be good to get a south meet going.

I'm in Crawley and I have a mate in Brighton as well with an S3 and we'd both like to make a meet if there are any happening!

Well i think i was probably one of the first S3 8P's in the county - Jan 07,East Southampton. Gutted when i spotted another S3 appear about two hundred yards away a couple of weeks later,not sure if he's on here. Now i've moved and there's an Ibis S3 nearby,not sure if that's on here?

Im from the guildford area but would be an idea to meet up and have a chin wag to other s3 owners as looking at engine mods...

I travel down to Southampton a lot to visit friends (used to live there)
Would definitely kill 2 birds with one stone and come down for a meet.

just seen this thread again, still really up for a meet, been in guildford with my gf the last few weeks and keep seeing a dolphin grey and black 8l s3 every morning going round the one way system by the station about 7.30. anyone up for a new years meet?

There are several good meet places have used with other clubs forums - Scoobynet/MLR/Hampshire Jap Cars etc.

Some good places that are regularly used are....

White Swan - Swaythling/Westend Soton - Bing Maps

Seven Stars - A272 Petersfield (best driving road in the area) Bing Maps

West Meon A272 - just down the road from above.big biker meet place

Longbridge Mill - Hook/ Sherfield-on-loddon hook pub - Google Maps

probably plenty more

A272 Petersfield is good, comes all the way through into midhurst and YES its a brill driving road!

Another thought is ....The white Swan in Arundel, its also another good place and has a big car park round the back, we use this place for the South Lancer Register meets.

Well connected by roads being on the A27, and some good driving roads down from petworth, midhurst, pulborough - they used to be well frequented by us on 'Spirited Drives' and also some good roads from places like haywards heath, horsham etc.
