Normally I would not complain but since the site has been updated and can no longer be properly supported on IE6 I have found myself visiting the site less and less - even at home (which is supported but I do not want to spend my evenings online).

The layout is completely up the left on IE6 and before anyone says, no, I cannot upgrade as it is the work computor and yes, I should be doing work but its break time :p

Is there any chance of the site being supported for IE6 like it was a month ago?

I have been a member of this site a number of years now and I feel that I am missing out on new information, problems, socialising and giving my general input/opinions on certain topics.

As I have mentioned before, I am a member of a number of other sites which use Vbulletin and are perfectly supportable on IE6.

Thanks very much.

Andrew

We are on it mate, admin were unavailable this weekend. I am not 100% on the plans so will not elaborate any further.

I agree it's awful on IE of all types, i use IE on my craptop and it's only just useable tbh.

Thanks buddy. It more or less is unuseable for me on IE6 to be honest as certain tabs are hidden, links are on top of each other, when I scroll down to read what has been typed it disappears when I scroll back up, etc.... Everything is just out of place :-(

Going yo use my iPhone from now on I think. Better but still not great.

In saying that, would it be possible to set up an iPhone app link to ASN? What about including ASN on tapatalk??

It doesnt load at all on IE6 at work. They should upgrade to IE7 or upwards but they dont know their **** from their elbows so no chance of that happening soon.

IE8 at hone here and keeps going into compatibility mode on the main page.

You can access asn on tapatalk now mate. That's my main method nowadays of viewing this site...

Any update on this at all, I am also on IE6 at work, we also are unable to update as we use alot of legacy systems that were setup specifically to be used on IE6 and to change that would cause all sorts of probs!!

If it were compatible, it would be so much better for quite a few of us I would say.

Thanks

Looks like I spoke too soon :-( the site is now unreadable on IE6.

I can't even access my pm's now it's that bad.

Is anything being done? I find myself using this site less and less because of it.

Admin. Is anything being done about this at all?

I cannot access my pm's, the site is a complete mess, when I scroll down to see the jumbled threads they disappear when I scroll back up etc...

I am not the only one on here that suffers.

Thanks

l know this is a pain. but seriously, try firefox or chrome. lve mostly stopped using IE

It seems to me that the site is a complete mess full stop. The colours are horrible and quite a few things just don't work at all whatever browser you are using. Many people look at the forum on work pcs and do not have the choice of loading other browsers than IE. IE8 works much better that IE6 but the site should work properly with at least one version of IE as it's still the most popular browser by far.

That is my point aswell Dave, it keeps working then not working even with IE8 & needs compat mode with IE8 then it goes all weird & you have to turn compat mode of when looking at the new posts lists, but its not always like this, who knows whats going on.

Regardless of personal Admin preference of browser, surely they want all members to have proper access regardless of the browser used.

I agree, I am also unable to use anything but IE6 at work too and its a real mess there, I only get time in the evenings to get on the forum now, thats even if I get the time nowadays.
