Thread: Search Facility

Hi All,

I just wanted to make you all aware that the search system seems to have responded well to the kicking I have it lasst night...

If you do a search you will now be shown results which date from before we upgraded to vB4.

There is one quirk however, when you run a search at the bottom of the first page of results it will probably indicate "1-20 of 100" - then when you click to page two, it'll be "21-40 of 120" - ie the 'total' number of results appears to increase as you progress through them. This is a little quirk of vB4 and work to get it sorted out is already under way. ....It doesn't seem to impact actual functionality though - I'm able to get perfectly satisfactory results from the search now.

I'll keep you all updated on the other issues in (the other thread).

Further improvements to the search system will be logged here in due course...
