Hiya mate,
In short, it was mothballed. The index page was growing all the time, with new additions which do see some traffic. I think the last post in the 'other marques' section when it was retired was in the region of two or three months old.
We decided to have a fresh start with 'General Automotive' which is the new location for perhaps two or three previous sections, thus giving us something getting on for a 200 pixel scroll advantage. The previous posts weren't merged into General Automotive (fresh start and all that); but they weren't deleted, so if there's something in there you need, let me know; if you're just wondering where to put a fresh topic - General Topic is your best bet (so long as it doesn't fall into a technical category better served in that area of the board).
