    How do I.....?

How do you make a word in your thread become a hyperlink to somewhere?
i.e. "check this out" where the word 'this' becomes your link?

    Cheers.

When making a reply post, you need to click on 'Go advanced' on the right, so it opens up a new window with more options/functions. Now move the cursor to where you want to put your link and click on the blue blob icon with a chain link on it , then a window pops up requesting the address you want to link to. Fill this in and hit ok, and it will pasted a string of test onto your reply with some text highlighted, now just type in the word/text you want your hyperlink linked to, then move cursor back to end of text and continue.

I find it quicker to do it manually myself, ie:

    [url*=www.longweblink]Your Words[*/url]

In the above example I've put two * in which you don't need so that you can see the workings.
