I have no idea how easy this would be; I can see it becoming more popular in the future. Is it possible to create an a-s.net app for the iPhone? I mean I know it must be - there is a facebook app. I mean is it really difficult?

To answer this: Facebook has an API, AS.net doesn't. vBulletin, which is the software that's used to run this forum, can produce RSS feeds - however they appear to be disabled here. That would allow you to use a feed reader to check for new posts etc but wouldn't allow you to actually post something new on the site. In summary, it would be a lot of effort, but anything's possible. Will it happen? I'd say NO, just use your mobile browser.
