When do I change gear?

Ok I have searched high and low for an answer to this but to no avail. The gear number displayed at the top of each posters profile I guess links to the number of post that user has made yeh? At some stage I went from reverse to 1st

Question is how many posts til I get into 2nd, 3rd etc ..... ?

here are the settings :

Reverse Gear 0
Neutral 30
1st Gear 100
2nd Gear 300
3rd Gear 500
4th Gear 700
5th Gear 900
6th Gear 1500

however, you do have the option to change your user title

Thanks Olly - I didn't change it as I couldn't think of anything witty to write! So will just change up manually as I post more and more!
