Hi there.
I am trying to post some pictures with my post but cannot seem to attach images.
Do I need to write a certain number of posts first?

You can link to your pictures (if they are hosted on another site/server). You cannot upload your pictures to the forum...
 
yeah, i really hate the attachment feature of vbulletin, so ive turned it off.

host your images with imageshack, or indeed the gallery on here, then link to them
