Site features sugestion

Hi,

Im a very recent user to the forum but am using it quite a bit now. I have a sugestion for the website.

Basically, a section on the site where people can list dealers and specialists around the country and give them ratings and approximiate prices for certain tasks (such as services, timing bet change etc...).

It could be organsed by region for example.

I think this is a good idea as well. A forum that specifically plays dealers and specialists off against each other. Where users can list how much they actaully paid for there work, what was carried out, level of service they recieved. Courtesy car, if they use YTS or experienced staff, if they damaged the car or made up more faults to bump up the bill!

I think it will work better as a 'How did you rate the whole experience?' rather than just calling and asking for a price. In my experience some garages quote a low price and then try and sting you for more work once they have your car. It is better to report on the experience afterwards rather than promoting unrealistically cheap quotes.

Im a fairly well experienced PHP programmer, so i'll put together a mock system that does this to demonstrate to the mods of this site.

This can also be extended to cover things like chips, tyres etc...

I was thinking more along the lines of it being completly independant to the forum.
Thing with the forums is that important information easily dissapears into the nethers, and if your not too handy with the search you can never find it.
