just brought a cat-back anyone else with it? any videos?

Well I'm a bit disappointed with Miltek and their aftersales service, my motor is just 7 months old and I've had 2 systems on to date, the first one 'blew' at one of the welds by the rear silencer, this was replaced by Milltek HQ under warranty and whilst there I had a non-resonated pipe fitted so spent some extra cash, so far so good.

I have now had to have my previous resonated section put back on because the new pipe now has a hole in and despite e-mails and several phone calls I'm still waiting for them to book the car in - I'm considering either MV or perhaps Scorpion for my next car :(

If you get your car up on ramps take a look at where the Milltek almost meets the rear prop shaft just below the circular disc shaped part, both of my Millteks have suffered almost a circular saw action where this part of the prop shaft has touched the exhaust whilst spinning, I'll start a thread and post some pics later today as I'm concerned this may be a safety issue, my car is on stock suspension and the last exhaust fitted by Millteks own specialist fitter at HQ so I think their maybe a design fault - ps I rarely carry passengers so not a weight issue.

interesting! i thought milltek were good quality..

i had the full system on my cooper s for about 20k not a problem..

I sent a disgruntled e-mail to Milltek abnd to be fair they are now putting themselves out to offer good customer service, car is being picked up from my workplace and returned the same day, I'll keep you alll informed.

For over £1000 for a milltek exhaust you would thing they would be flawless, came across a Blueflame TBE with sports cat for just over £850 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....72652&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1 This is the same spec as milltek. Seems like great value, alot of TT mk1 owners highly rate blueflame for their value and quality. My mate has had two milltek downpipes so far both cracked at the flange that bolts to the turbo and i know of others that have had this issue. I will be going with the blueflame, found a few good video clips on youtube, looks and sounds the part:

Considered fitting a milltek but cant be bothered with the hassle that could arise if cracking occured so ill give bluflame a chance and see how the quality compares.
