Hey guys,

Sorry for the questions as I know its been covered before just want to make sure I order the correct wheels.

After a little advice on fitting some wheels to a 09 S3. Lowered on H & R springs.
Looking at purchasing some BBS CK rims and want to make sure I get the correct fitment. Reading around it seems most people run 8” wide but I think 8.5 with 225/35/19 would fit with no rubbing?
So what’s the best configuration to ensure no rubbing?
215/35/19 ET44 19x8
or
225/35/19 ET50 19x8.5

Cheers from oz

I have BBS CH Black also 19" on my S3 it is 8.5x19 ET50 with 225/35/19 on KW V3 coils and it sits real low with no rubing of any kind (even on max load) so there is your answer...

I have 19" BBS CH 8.5 wide, 235/35/19 tyres lowered on H&R springs - no rubbing issues what so ever but I think the CK's have a different offset??

Thanks very much for that...

So looks like 235/35/19 19x8.5 offset 50 is they way to go. Interesting because the advice I've recieved off other people is that that I'd have rubbing issues with this fitment?!? But I suggest if you have that exact set up you'd know!

seems 19x8.5 et50 is only available in the CH not CK.

So if I want CK's looks like I'll be sticking to 19x8 et44 225/35/19.

Cheers

The BBS wheels offered for the S3 8p are
CK 8x18 ET44, 8x19 ET44
CH 8x18 ET50, 8x19 ET50

For the wider 8.5 CH your offset is ET35.

pwmotorsport are the UK importers of BBS wheels so i think they'd know

I bought my set of 19" CHs from them and they were definitely 19x8 et50 - BBS CH026 - I ran them with 235/35/19s with H&R springs on my S3 an they were perfect
