Just got my car back from a local Audi specialist based locally.
I asked him to fit a full set of Powerflex bushes (all bushes front & rear), a Powerflex dogbone engine mount, an alloy strut brace & some FK (Koni) fully sdjustable coilover kit.
I have only driven the car back from his workshop to my house, so have not had chance to get a good feel for it (i only use the car @ weekends). On first impressions i think it seems to sit a bit lower than it did before (OE shocks & spax lowering springs, fitted already when i got the car), the car seems a little firmer (i asked him to set it all up as that initially).
I think the front needs to be stiffer, because when cornering, & on a delcine im sure the tyre fouls the wing.
Does anyone run the same setup as i do on an '98 A3 1.8 T Sport?
What settings do you find best?
I know its all about personal preference, just wanted to know others views
Cheers, Pete.
Think it might be time to go for a little drive round some bendy b roads
