A3 2.0TDi PD170 - AMD Performance Remap + DPF Delete

Hi All,

My 2008 Audi A3 2.0TDi PD170 went into AMD Essex yesterday for a performance remap and DPF-delete. Figures are as follows:

BEFORE
Power: 173.0Hp@4065rpm
Torque: 276.3lb-ft@2333rpm

AFTER
Power: 204.7Hp@3725rpm
Torque: 350.8lb-ft@2707rpm

Slightly disappointed by the power gain, was advised this could be due to the weather? Either way that's just a number to me because the actual feel of the performance increase is unreal. I guess the max torque range is quite short too, but ho-hum!

What do you guys think of the results?
 
Not bad was looking to get my cr 170 quattro done was told around 215bhp max . What's it feel like on the road does it pull better?
 
Personally,I'd be very satisfied with those results.

The increase in torque is the most significant,and also the most usable of those,resulting in how much better it feels on the road.

As many will tell you,torque delivers bragging rights on the road,and BHP delivers bragging rights in the pub.

In real terms,the peak torque of your 2.0TDi is getting on for that of a normally aspirated 5L petrol engine.

Im with Alex; that looks spot on for the work you have had done

My own 170 produces 205bhp and 330lbs ft

Whats the point in big numbers if you cant use any of it? You got to look at the AVERAGE gains and not the peak. More average power will make for a nicer drive 😃

i went from 173 bhp to 217 bhp but the lb/ft from 260 to 358 i'm stage 1
