I might be interested in AMD / Autospecialists intake for 2LTFSI K04

3208

but I don't find lot's of recent informations like logs, MAF values or fuel trim ...
Does it work well like revo intake ? Does it sound louder than revo ?
If anyone can me advice on this intake ?

Thanks for your help

Get a REVO, it has best flow characteristics on the market. You can offer 310 for this one and get it, good deal.

The best of the current intakes are(in no particular order) :

AMD
Revo
Old style ITG.

Each will do the job well and up to the sort of power I'm running.

Choose whichever suits you and your budget best and don't worry.

Running the AMD intake and very happy with it.
Fit is excellent and fuel trims sit about 2-3 which is pretty much as good as you'll get.
Depends what your after really I tried a Revo intake and wasn't that impressed with the fit and it was too noisy for me.
I run my AMD intake with an enclosed filter which makes it very quiet which is what I wanted.
I was only stage 1 when trying Revo but the car didn't perform any better than with the AMD.
I think the AMD is a very underrated and I personally wouldn't change mine but its personal preference.

How much are the AMD intakes? I remembered when I brought intake systems a few years back they were around £150! Lol

I paid 349 and that was with the heat shield aswell .. slightly more than 150 :p they do look and sound good :)

Thanks guys for your answers :anbet: :sm4:

For REVO intake I don't find it under £335 ..
And I can maybe have a better deal on AMD Intake, that's why I asked you information.

So AMD seems to be good, but I think as it came later on market lot's of user already have an intake so they don't try this one.

A last question : on AMD intake do I need to buy an Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield ?
