Buying another A3 HELP ! ENGINE HELP !

Hi I have a 2005 audi a3 1.6 fsi 5 door atm. Due to this car being given to my sister, I am now looking for a new car. I really like that A3 so am looking for a similar model.

I do not want a diesel. I am looking at the petrol 1.6 FSI or 2.0 FSI. Can anyone give me a comparison on both and let me know which they think is best.

What fuel economy can i expect ?

Which one do you think I should go for?
 
Probs not worth getting the 2.0, slow AND bad rated MPG, mayaswell go 1.6 or if you want speed a turbo version a 2.0T or newer 1.8T
 
the thing is I cannot get a turbo insured due to age.

I find the 1.6 slow and slightly sluggish. But do you think it is a bad idea going for the 2.0 fsi?

What mpg would i be looking at for the 2.0

think its like 25-45 mpg, which is the same as the turbo version.

How old are you?

o right, all i can say is try the forum sponsors, but im 23 and my insurance for first year was fairly high.

But i prefer driving a fast car than going out drinking and the insurance is still cheaper than going out 1 night a week for a year! ;)

haha I would opt for that anyday in order to drive a fast car.

How much would i be looking at for a tfsi 2.0 insurance?

Erm do some quotes on compare the market.com, i base all my quotes from there.

But theres an insurance section on the forum, with 4 providers now, just give them a ring take 10 mins out to get a quote and see what they say.

Come back to us what a 2.0T A3 gets you on comparison site!? my cheapest quote on there last year was 1500. lol.

did a tfsi quote and Im looking cheapest at around 5000 !!!! HOW CAN IT BE SO EXPENSIVE

yeah dude, your screwed, unless forum sponsors OR you buy a brand new one.

New car insurance is cheaper due to more chance of you looking after it! lol.

Personally id stick to something smaller. get a corsa 1.8 sxi, pretty speedy lol. find one on autotrader and do another quote :p
 
cant be downgrading to a corsa after having an a3 already man !

I think I'm going to have to either settle for the 1.6 fsi, 2.0 fsi or 1.9tdi.
But 105bhp diesel is just gonna be so slow :/

out of the 3 - like overall for performance, economy and enjoyment factor

which would u choose !

Out of those 3, id probably choose.... none.

U looked into the 140bhp diesel?
 
Ive just turned 21 and I've got a 2.0 tdi 140bhp and it's resonable on insurance. You'll regret the 1.6
