Thread: RNS-e Upgrade to AMI

A quick question...

I'm looking to buy and install an RNS-e unit into my MY10 S3 in place of the concert headunit.

I can find plenty of 2009 models with silver buttons etc, but I'd like an AMI version which are the 2010 model but these are proving very difficult to source.

So a question for the experts...can you upgrade a 2009 (non-AMI) unit with the software to provide the AMI functions (i'm particularly keen on the proper iPod functionality you get with it).
