Please help
The laser on our MMI 3G system (no little joystick on top of knob) has broken and doesn't come under warranty (long story), the sat nav disc doesn't work as it scratches but audi have given us the new 2013 disc out of courtesy.
I pressed them to get one off them so that i could put the data onto an SD card.
What I'm getting at, is how do i copy the sat nav data from the dvd to the sd card via my laptop?
I can't use the normal method of entering the dvd and going through the menu options as it'll probably scratch and i don't want to risk it.
I believed I could just use my laptop to copy and paste, but it doesn't work. It's a 32gb card, so there should be no problem but once copied, nothing happens when i put it into the reader on the dashboard.
I've read on other forums that is possible but they're old threads and they never went into detail.
Any ideas?
