What's sat nav have I?

I've seen this before in the other vag cars I've used in the past:

colour info screen which shows up basic nav info:

Then a funky dial and button affair mounted on the centre console:

Works fine but the disc in the boot is way out of date and I wondered if I can replace it with a newer disc?

Yeah that's the basic cd based version, they will be a newer version which runs at £115 for latest.

Why not put the money towards a much better system & replace it with a newer rns-e which would include the latest nav dvd anyway

Give me a shout if of interest.
