Loads of 'hospitals' on map??!!

I decided to drive round with my sat-nav map on this morning for some reason and noticed a lot of icons that looked like this...

At first they looked like they were maybe pub locations, but I looked up what this was in the 'special destination' option and it says hospital. but there's hundreds of them!! there's 14 of them just in this area here..!

Anyone else have this?
