hi guys i have a rns-e i think and behind the screen it has two sd card slots

i have a 8 gb card and cleared it and dropped music onto it but when i put it in the slod it plays nothing it just says loading or reading i left it a while but still nothing.

do i need to create a folder or somthing on the card and drop the music into the folder??

IIRC the RNSE will only see upto 4gb on none HCSD cards.

i have a 8gb micro hcsd card in a micro sd adaptor for it to fit the slot so this should not work?

what is the correct card to get??

I don't think that'll work. I use a 2gb in mine. But you're limited to the amount of files in each folder due to Fat anyway.
I would advise personally 2 x 2gb sd cards.

ok got a 2 gb sd card and i have cleared it so it has no folders on it

i then drag my music from i tunes of my mac to the card but it still does not read the card.

can anybody help ?

I've replied to the other thread where you've asked this bud, I've read that dragging from itunes to SD card as mp3 can be a pain.

I've tried about half a dozen or so different cards. the only ones that work are on ebay, search for "sd card rns-e"

they're £7.99 plus £2.49 p&p. they should say "platinum" on them

or just search google for "platinum 177106"
