Connecting iPad to sd card for rns-e

Hi all not sure if it's possible, I would like to connect an external sd card writer to my iPad to download music from my iTunes to sd to use in my rns-e. would the camera lead that apple make do the job.

Surely your iTunes would be sync'ed to a pc or mac? Then just get an sd card ready to plug in via USB!

Yes my pc is but thought it would be faster with iPad than Los laptop. But having said that just spent the last hour online looking for a new vaio. Going to pc world this afternoon.

Vaio's are nice I've got an i7, SSD'ed one from work, but they are way over priced for what they are!

I had a read around, and I don't think you can copy music from iTunes to an SD card via the iPad. The card reader is just for showing and copying pictures from the SD card to the iPad, don't think it does it the other way around.
