Unfortunetly i had to call the RAC out yesterday, embarrassingly i emptied the battery, left the heated seats on and just about everything else without engine on for a good while.
So whilst the Nice RAC man did his stuff, checking battery.... alternator ETC, he ask wheather he could disconnect the negative terminal to carry out further tests, but i wasn,t sure what the code is used for my unit, so i declined.
Is it possible my unit wouldn,t need recoding if disconnecting the battery, there's nothing in my service book, which usually contains the code on a dedicated page.
