Thread: RNS-E install,looking for single to double din parts.

This is a question for the guys doing RNS retrofits really. I am looking to have a go at installing RNS into my 8L S3,I have a Chorus head unit at present so I will need to convert to double din. I presume you guys in the retrofitting business have a stock,or a source of double din cages? I'm not 100% on all the parts I require,could anyone give me a rundown? I appreciate that by me asking and attempting it myself there isn't any money in it for you,but you can't blame a guy for asking.

If I am correct,I need a unit from an A4. Is it as easy as that,or is it from a specific year,specific part number for europe etc?

What year is your S3.

It's 2002 sir.

2002 makes it better as its canbus.

I can probably supply an a4 unit, cage & iso to quadlock adapter set, can even fit it for you if interested.

Do you think you could PM me a price list,and also an all in cost if you fit it please?
