OK so first issue with the new car,
How do I turn off the volume control that increases the volume when the engine noise increases?
I have read the menu in the handbook and gone to the 'sound' screen and everything else is there ( Fader,balance,treble,bass and the volume control for speech in the bottom sub menu but the bit with the 'Gala' control isn't there?

Well I have checked the handbook front to back but can't find how to do it, going to pop in to audi on Tuesday to ask them

I think if you have BOSE, the GALA option disappears. You can however get this back with VCDS, then set it to off.
The BOSE audiPilot is a pain - seems to lag in changing volume which just sounds odd.
